Chromatography

Chromatography techniques are used to separate compounds of interest from other components of a mixture. Once the compounds have been separated they can then be quantified and their identity confirmed.

Chromatography can provide quantitative data on the components of future medical devices. When chromatography is coupled with mass spectrometry or spectral diode array, qualitative (identity confirmation) information can also be acquired.
